04Plays a repeating pattern
Follow your ears.
Enable sound, then touch or click a wave and glide along it. Each ribbon starts in a different octave. Move vertically to add expression. Hold several ribbons at once on a touchscreen. Use the small sliders, or drag across a knob; arrow keys also adjust focused controls.
Pitch shifts the whole instrument. Ratio changes the relationship between two oscillators; vertical movement on a ribbon increases their interaction.
Timbre folds a simple wave into a richer one. Symmetry offsets the folds for a different color. The screen shows the actual output.
Decay shapes each pluck. Damping darkens it. Brightness fades with loudness, in the spirit of a low-pass gate.
Drift is on by default and starts a repeating five-step pattern when you power on or play. Switch it off in Motion to play freely. Rate sets its pace; chance changes its notes. Tap a step light to skip that beat. Tap Chirp beside the ribbons for a single burst of birdsong.
Scale lock keeps glides in D minor pentatonic. Turn it off for continuous pitch. Ocean space adds a soft stereo reverb. Your settings stay in this browser.
